1. When Mother Teresa was twelve years old, she felt strongly the call of God. God called her to be a missionary to spread the love of Christ.
2. She said that God called her "to serve him among the poorest of the poor” while she was traveling by train to Darjeeling’s mountain town to be cured from tuberculosis.
3. From 1931 to 1948 Mother Teresa was a teacher at St. Mary's High School in Calcutta. One day she realized that there are a lot of poor people. She decided to go to the slums of Calcutta to help the poorest of the poor.
1. In 1948, she took care of a half-dead woman who was lying in front of a Calcutta hospital. She helped and stayed with the woman until she died. From that point on, she dedicated her life for helping the poorest of the poor in India. Dedicating her life for helping poor brought her the name "Saint of the Gutters."
2. Mother Teresa helped dying people by staying with them until their death, and taking care of them.
3. While meeting Pope John Paul II in Rome Mother Teresa suffered from a heart attack and she died on September 5, 1997.

2. They are helped and promoted by Co-Workers who became an official International Association on March 29, 1969. They have worked in more than 40 countries.

 God will judge you if you treat poor people badly and do not help them.
 The poor are Hungry for love not only food.
 Naked people are naked for human dignity and respect.

1. They are hungry for love. They expect and hope that their son or daughter will come to see them. They are hurt because they are forgotten and not important to their son or daughter anymore.
2. When Mother Teresa asked Young people who drug that why they drug, they said their father and mother are so busy they have no time.
3. Mother Teresa said the greatest destroyer of peace is abortion.
